Praise and Glory to God through His Son, Jesus Christ

John Pruitt

John Pruitt is the son of parents who did not graduate from high school and also did not have any formal education beyond high school. He is a firm believer in education as a lifelong journey.

John Pruitt holds a Master of Science degree in Human Relations and Management, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology.

“”Inspiration””: When his daughter graduated from high school, and his son graduated four years later, John Pruitt was surprised to learn that many parents lacked knowledge of what was required for their children to attend college. Parents were often unfamiliar with terms like G.P.A., class ranking, Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and SAT/ACT. He also encountered a widespread misconception among white parents that Black and minority students received preferential treatment in scholarships. On the contrary, John Pruitt observed that white students often had more advantages in the college admissions process due to factors such as economic conditions, the racial composition of teaching staff, and family educational legacy.

“”Vision””: John Pruitt’s mission is to present clear and detailed information to help parents understand the academic and administrative requirements needed for their child to pursue higher education. His book provides guidance not only for college-bound students but also for those considering alternative career paths, helping them to follow a plan toward success.

“”Previous Experience””: John Pruitt’s daughter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Master of Arts degree in Teaching. She currently serves as a school district administrator training teachers in Science. His son holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, an MBA, and a Doctorate of Optometry. He is now a practicing optometrist.

While John Pruitt acknowledges that there is no absolute guarantee that following the Blueprint for the Future will result in a college degree or a successful career, he strongly advocates that implementing its principles overwhelmingly increases a student’s opportunities for academic and professional success. His own children stand as living examples of that belief.
